Student designed warm-up games.

For something a bit different, I decided to let the Grade 5/6 students design their own warm-up game that they would run with their classmates over the coming weeks.
In a group of 3 or 4, students had to design a game that specifically targeted Fun, Fitness, Friendship, Fundamentals and Safety.
It had to be a warm-up game, so the participants had to be constantly moving, no going out and staying out.
Below is some of the best creations, I'll add more over the coming weeks...
Bacon Flip

Rules: 3 - 4 taggers, taggers cannot get you whilst you are saving someone.
Description: When a tagger gets you, you need to lie down on the ground in a dish shape. You stay there until a friend saves you by 'flipping' the bacon 3 times (they roll you to superman, dish, superman), then you are free to move around again.
Score: Fun: 80%; Fitness: 90%; Fundamentals: 100%; Friendship: 100%; Safety: 92%.
OVERALL SCORE: 92%

Fishy Tiggy

Rules: 3 - 4 taggers, taggers cannot get you whilst you are saving someone.
Description: When a tagger gets you, you become a fish. When you are a fish, you need to hold a side support shape. You stay there until a friend saves you by catching you and 'reeling' you in. As they are 'reeling' you in, you need to flap around like a fish. Once saved, then you are free to move around again.
Score: Fun: 100%; Fitness: 100%; Fundamentals: 80%; Friendship: 100%; Safety: 83%.
OVERALL SCORE: 88%
